I have a variable subscription product for a physical or digital magazine, that subscription grants the user access to the Digital Version of all editions of the magazine, as seen below in the Subscription details.

Subscription Screenshoot

All Editions of the Magazine are setup as Variable Products with a Physical or Digital Variant.    Physical Copy includes the Digital Copy as well.     This is the Product page for one items listed above in the Subscription.

Variable Product

It doesn't seem like your plugin is recognizing that the Single Digital Editions the users is already granted ownership to when they purchased the subscription.

Owned Products Settings

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding how this is supposed to work, but my presumption was that if the product/download was already owned that it would automatically change the price to zero and then change the link to a Download Now link similar to below.    The item below was manually set to a Zero price by putting it on Sale, and its intended to provide a free sample for anyone that want view one.   But I need to get all of the Owned Issues to show up in a similar way.

Working View PDF Link

If we can get this working like I was hoping it would, then the plugin would provide exactly what I'm looking for.

Let me know if that makes sense, and thanks for support.

Hi mate. Taking my plugin out of the equation, how are users able to access these digital editions after purchasing the physical copy? Are they able to download them for free from their account page?

Yes the downloads show up under the users account page.

Ok cool that's what I thought. The code for downloading owned products only looks at purchase history, my guess is WooCommerce is using the "grant access" system in this instance.

I'll look into it and see if I can handle those downloads as well.

Thanks for taking a closer look at this, to see if there is a way to get this to work with the "Grant Access" system.    That would be amazing, and what I really need for this plugin to deliver what I was hoping for.

It works exactly how I had hoped it would.   Amazing Support, I just went and left a review on WordPress.org

Really appreciate you taking the time to make the plugin work for my use case!
