Hello:

I just bought your plugin pro. Here is how I want it to work for me which I don't know how too.  When the user click my free download button, I want the visitor to account register first for later purchase.  I need to capture their first name, last name, country and email address only.  Afterwards, they immediately get access to the free download button in their woocommerce account page.  How can your plugin help capture this info and give access to the download?

Regards,
Vanavah Edwards

    Hi Vanavah,

The specific method you're describing isn't possible. You can however require users be logged in to download for free, and you can customise the message displayed to include a log in/register link.

To login to download you mention, is what I want.  I want them to create/register an account to login so as to get the download.  I need this so that they don't have to go through a checkout to create an account for a free download. How can I do that?

You need to go to the Free Download plugin settings and tick the box to require login and fill in the message how you want. See image below.
