Hi!

I use Amazon S3 for my Woocommerce store. Some of the files that I offer are Adobe PSD files.

For some reason, when I test download one of my PSD's from my online store, it downloads fine, but won't open, the file is corrupt.

When I download it direct from Amazon S3, it downloads and opens fine, so I'm thinking it's your plugin.

Do you know of any compatibility issues with PSD files?

Thanks!

Hi Charlotte was this working in your test environment? I remember something similar to this with WooCommerce as it's a WooCommerce issue (my plugin uses the WooCommerce downloader).

If I recall you have to set up the metadata correctly when you upload the file to your bucket, or ensure the correct permissions are set up.

Also is your product a multiple file download, or a single file download?

    Hi!

It's multiple, there's a jpeg version and a psd version.

Jpegs, pdf's, dng's and xmps all download fine on the shop, and they're all part of multiple download products. But for some reason, it's corrupting psd files....

It's not in a test environment, it's live. Bucket settings seem to be ok for everything else?

I'll contact woocommerce, do you have any other ideas?

    Thanks!

So when you say those other files work, they're also being downloaded from AWS as free downloads using my plugin? It's just PSD files having a problem?

yeah that's correct. I think i've identified the issue as being the file size. I shrank the psd to an 11mb file and it worked fine. but the file size as it was, (around 100mb), wasn't.

Issue is the file size needs to work around 50mb for the quality of the image. but at 50mb it also doesn't like it. its really odd its corrupting when the file size gets too big.

Doesn't sound like your plugin? woocommerce dont understand why that would happen. ive asked my host to raise a support ticket for me, wondering if its them?

    very odd!

Hmm that is strange. If you want to completely rule out my plugin you can do the following:

Deactivate my plugin, buy the free product which has the big PSD file as the download, go through the checkout as normal. Then download the file from your account page, like you would normally and see if the download works.
