Hi Richard,

I've had to rethink the way the free trial on one of my subscriptions works and have a question.  Can you think of any way that your plugin could limit the number of downloads for any user in a subscription Trial Period?

Thanks.

I just considered that users who might reach a download limit during the Trial Period would then need to wait for the Trial to end before they could download more.  This is not a good idea at all.  Please ignore this post.

Ian I've had a think myself. What about using the model that users sign up for the subscription, but the first month is free? Basically like a trial period.

The subscription is a 12 month one billed yearly. If I set the first month to free they would still need to pay for the other 11 months.  I think I'll have to accept that some people will download everything in the trial period.  But they aren't going to be customers anyway.

Is limiting downloads in trial subscriptions possible?
