Hello,

Is there a way to add a merge tag so we can segment visitors in MailChimp? Thank you.

Hi mate not yet. For now the best way would be to create a separate list for these subscriptions.

    Hi Richard.
I believe that would mean I would have to pay extra if there are duplicate signups?

Do you know if there is an automation to merge lists in MailChimp?  I am new to MailChimp.

Hi mate this plugin doesn't make duplicate signups, if the email address is already in the list it won't subscribe again.

You can use MailChimp's Combine Lists tool to mix lists together. You could also just include two or more lists in a single email campaign. It's quite flexible.

Not sure about automated list combining though.

    Hello Richard,

Thank you.  I will use the Combine List tool until there is a merge tag option ready.  I wanted a way to add free downloaded merge tags to avoid using more than one list, in case a free download signup becomes a customer.

    Thank you! 🙂
