I've got it all working pretty much and I'm starting to like it.
So now I'm a bit more into the details...

I use the 'Email a download link' option and I was searching for ways to style the Header and the Body of the email.
Especially things like:
- change the font type or style
- include an image

E.g.: the header text now has some kind of purple background.
Can this be changed? Can the font type be changed?

I was looking through the help options and through the forum but couldn't find anything.

Downlink link emails use your WooCommerce email templates. So you need to customise those.

Continuing my discovery journey Richard,

This is the thing I'm strugglibng with now.

I actually have it all set up nicely: a number of images on the site that also can be downloaded as PDF files.
The newsletter subscription is activated and the email adresses can be found in the log files.

That is ti say: now on one of the sections of the site I connected the subscription option via a MailChimp API code to an Audience I created.
And suddenly I can't see my test subscriptions anymore in the log file nor are the email addresses added to the MailChimp Audience.
The functionality of the file download is still working fine: I do receive an email with a working download link.

If you have a tip for me how to get the emails in the log file again as well as in the MailChimp Audience that would be great!

Hi Richard, Still couldn't find out what the problem is, so all tips are welcome!

When you say the emails in the log files, do you mean the Free Download Logs admin page?

Yes, I don't see them there and I don't see them in the via the API Key coupled Mailchimp audience.
Whereas in the subsite where we didn't couple it to MailChimp (yet!) the response does show up in the log files.
